The Hotel was under reconstruction in 1999/2001 and offers now 191 cosy and quiet rooms; all with private facilities (bath or shower); hair dryer; cable-TV; radio; minibar and telephone with an additional TAE-plug. 49 of them have recently been refurnished to large comfort-twinbedded or double rooms (28sqm). At the same time; all rooms have been equipped with air-conditioning. There are 74 non-smoking rooms available. The fashionable restaurant "Alsterpavillon" offers an excellent kitchen with seasonal specialities. Next to the elegant lounge; with an open fire-place; the attractive "Hanse- Bar" offers fresh draft beer and international drinks. Fully air-conditioned banquet and conference rooms; with daylight and modern technical equipment; for up to 90 persons are also available. There is a garage and sufficient parking spaces on the premises.</p>
