<p>The Mercure Metropol was built in 1896 and is located in the heart of the city centre near the railway station. Many of Budapest's cultural and tourist attractions are easily accessed including The Danube, National Museum, Parliament, the famous Synagogue and Hero's Square whilst the main shopping area is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
